Bioni-Vice
The Bioni-Vice is a device with multiple functions created by Lexero, the Sixth Air-Lord. Version 2 has become widely used, being in the possession of almost every Bioni-Lord.
Version 1: A prototype version created from a cell phone by Lexero near the end of Book 1. Functions include making phone calls, converting Spirits into data, storing Spirit data, and trading Spirit data to other Bioni-Vices.
Version 2: A mass-produced version that resembles a rectangular watch. The Bioni-Vice is divided down the center into two parts, and takes on the color or colors of the Element (or Element of the Spirit) that the owner uses the most. If there are two colors involved, one half of the device is one color, while the other half is a different color. It responds to voice commands, and for most functions, displays a holographic screen for an interface.
Universal functions include making video calls, accessing the Internet, converting Spirits into data, storing Spirit data, trading Spirit data, temporary Double Fusion (not well known), calendar/planner, and clock. Additional functions that can be added on include a Universal Translator, connecting to other systems (such as the Getsu's Space-Time Distortion Generator), and an Orb Radar.
Prototype Saga
Book 1: It's always been the same...the final version just has more stuff in it.
Book 2: The original Book 2 was set 10 years after Book 1, and had a similar Elemental area quest...IN SPACE!! Yes, I was going to send them into space, to Elemental Planetary Systems with suns made up of the corresponding element (Air Sun? Stone Sun? And they were going around collecting shards of the Rahaga Sun.) and aliens with the same Spirits as Earth. It was...odd. Khadaz was going to attempt to propose to Amy at the beginning and actually get around to it in the end.
Book 3: The finalized Book 2, but without the adults plot, and Kharuun was going to fight the 10th. But that would be ridiculous.
Book 4: There's a signal going out that cancels Fusion. The main characters, who are somehow immune to it (plothole), set out to the Lost Continent (not the finalized version) and take down Elemental Towers.
Book 5: The finalized Book 3. Of course, the original version was incredibly vague...oh, and Kytan wasn't originally Genakex's brother. At first, they were just going to be best friends, but then I thought it might be more interesting if they were brothers. The evil uncle isn't used all that often...except in the Lion King, of course.
Book 6: Kharuun sends a digital version of himself on a quest to save cyberspace. Yeah...but in the end he finds an interesting data recording.
Book 7: The finalized Book 4. Again, I'm not telling you about this one yet.
Book 8: The finalized Book 5...not telling you about this one either.
